Speaker Studio gives you a professional stage, a real audience, and professional photo and video capture so you can share your message and leave with the assets to take it into bigger rooms.

Maybe you’ve been developing a talk for a while, people have started asking you to speak and you want to show up fully prepared, or you already speak and know you’re ready to take your message further.

On the morning of November 7, you could be one of eight speakers stepping onto the stage to professionally capture the talk you’ve been waiting to share.

The experience

Your morning on stage

  1. 8 to 10 minutes on stage

Bring a prepared segment of your keynote, signature talk, presentation, or message to a professional stage and deliver it the way it was meant to be heard.

A professional stage, microphone, and projector will be available for approved presentation visuals.

  2. Speak to a live audience

Speak to real people, not an empty room or a camera lens. You’ll present to fellow Speaker Studio participants and invited guests, giving you the energy, reactions, and presence that make speaking footage feel real. Each speaker may invite up to five guests to join the audience for their Speaker Studio presentation.

  3. Professional video capture

Walk away with professionally filmed speaking footage you can use on your website, speaker page, social media, pitches, proposals, and future speaker reel.

  4. Professional stage photography + portraits

Get professional images of you speaking on stage, followed by a 3 to 5 minute portrait session immediately after your presentation.

THE VENUE

A real theater. A real stage.

Speaker Studio will take place at The Station Theater, a restored historic movie theater in downtown Smyrna, Tennessee, in the Nashville area.

For one morning, the theater becomes your room. You’ll step onto the stage with fellow speakers and guests in the audience while your presentation is professionally photographed and filmed.

The Station Theater | Smyrna, Tennessee | Nashville Area

Morning on stage. Evening in the room.

Your day doesn’t end when you leave the stage.

Your $179 First Edition ticket is included.

Return that evening for The First Edition, with dinner, a live keynote, and a thoughtfully gathered room of speakers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and other well connected professionals. Some people in the room hire speakers. Others know the people who do. More importantly, it’s a chance to have real conversations with people doing meaningful work.

You’ll also experience a complete keynote from the audience side of the stage. Notice what holds your attention, what lands, and what you may want to bring into your own speaking work.

Who’s behind Speaker Studio

Chandani Patel Thompson speaking into a microphone

Chandani Patel Thompson is a lawyer, founder, and speaker who has presented for audiences such as Sephora, TuneIn Radio, POPSUGAR Media, Golden Gate University, and the University of San Francisco. She also created and hosted the Rest to Rise Summit, which brought together 17 speakers and attracted more than 600 registrants for conversations around rest, well-being, and sustainable success.

Speaker Studio grew out of her own experience looking for an accessible way to step onto a professional stage and capture the kind of photo and video that helps event organizers picture a speaker in the room.

She created Speaker Studio to give people with meaningful stories, expertise, and ideas a supportive place to share their message and leave with professional assets they can use to pursue more speaking opportunities.

Your Speaker Studio experience will be professionally photographed and filmed by WorkPlay Branding, capturing your time on stage and select moments throughout the morning.

You’ll receive polished photo and video assets to use across your speaker website, social media, pitches, and promotional materials, delivered to your registered email after the event.
